• Haworth to open a new 8100 sq. ft. Experience Centre in Bengaluru as businesses increasingly choose Made in India workplace solutions that meet global design and quality standards.
• Strategically located on St. Mark’s Road in Bengaluru’s CBD, with close proximity to MG Road, Residency Road, Lavelle Road, and UB City, the new Experience Centre will place Haworth at the heart of the city’s business, architecture, and design ecosystem. Once launched, the space will serve as a destination for workplace innovation, collaboration, and customer engagement.
In 1997, when few global furniture brands saw India as anything more than a market to sell into, Haworth opened its doors here. Today, the chairs and workstations in many of India’s largest workplaces are no longer imported. They are manufactured in India to the same global standards that customers expect across Haworth markets. The new Bengaluru Experience Centre reflects Haworth’s commitment to bringing globally benchmarked, locally manufactured workplace solutions closer to customers in one of India’s most dynamic business markets.
Over the past two decades, Bengaluru has emerged as one of Haworth India’s most significant markets, recording the highest deployment of Haworth chairs and workstations anywhere in the country. The city’s concentration of Global Capability Centres (GCCs), technology companies and innovation-led enterprises has made it a key market for premium workplace solutions. Over the years, Haworth has partnered with several leading GCCs and multinational companies, supporting the workplace requirements of some of Bengaluru’s largest and most influential organisations.
Building on this momentum, Haworth will open a new Experience Centre in Bengaluru this year, reinforcing its long-term commitment to one of its most important markets in India. Strategically located on St. Mark’s Road in Bengaluru’s CBD, with close proximity to MG Road, Residency Road, Lavelle Road, and UB City, the new Experience Centre places Haworth at the heart of the city’s business, architecture, and design ecosystem. The Experience Centre will provide a collaborative environment where architects, designers, corporate clients, and channel partners can engage with Haworth’s latest workplace solutions, explore design possibilities, and co-create high-performance workplaces for the future.
“Manufacturing products in India is only one part of the equation. Customers today expect those products to deliver the same performance, reliability and design standards they would expect anywhere in the world. We see that expectation continuing to grow, particularly in innovation-led markets like Bengaluru where workplace decisions are increasingly shaped by employee experience and long-term value. As organisations rethink how their offices support collaboration, flexibility and productivity, they are looking for partners who can deliver not just quality products, but complete workplace solutions aligned with today’s workplace demands,” said Manish Khandelwal, Managing Director, Haworth India.
The launch comes at a time when organisations are placing greater emphasis on creating workplaces that support different styles of work. With growing focus on employee well-being, workplace experience and flexibility, office design has become a strategic business decision. Customers are increasingly looking for opportunities to evaluate solutions, compare configurations and make informed choices based on their enterprise objectives and evolving workplace needs. The new Experience Centre responds to this shift by creating a collaborative environment where workplace decisions can be informed by design, functionality and business priorities.
The launch reflects Haworth India’s long-term investment in the Indian market. As one of India’s foremost technology, commercial, and innovation hubs, Bengaluru remains central to Haworth India’s growth strategy. Building on nearly three decades in the country, the company will continue investing in local manufacturing, expanding its presence, and partnering with customers and the design community to shape the next generation of workplaces.
