Momenti, the Italian Custom Design company, in collaboration with Ottimo, a design studio for Italian interiors, has launched its RX Nuance Capsule Collection of furnishings and wall coverings in India. Inspired by nature and structure revealing X rays (strangely enough!), the Nuance line is replete with enigmatic geometric patterns and a brilliant, albeit minimal, colour palette.
The Capsule collection emerged from a quest for new possibilities and sensorial experiences. Linear lines of underlying structure were delineated and re-combined in repeating patterns. Chromatic gradients reminiscent of X-rays fading into neutral hues were combined with rich nature inspired colours to create mesmerizing visuals. When translated on to a wall or a piece of furniture, these visuals create harmonious patterns that are at times dazzling, and meditative at others.
“X rays reveal a hidden world that is full of patterns and shapes that fire one’s imagination. With this collection, we are celebrating this unseen world where chromatics merge, mingle and collide with their opposites to create nuanced stories,” shares Alexander Bagnai, the co-founder of Momenti.
The Nuance collection is available in striking but limited colour range as it moves away from excess and towards minimalism. Used for wall coverings or furnishings, it lends a distinctive character to a space. It is superlative for creating striking feature walls or to upholster your furniture pieces, including nightstands, buffet tables or bar units for a dramatic look.
