Czech designer and producer Sans Souci, renowned for creating tailor-made decorative lighting fixtures, glass objects and architecture features for projects around the world, has elevated a Dubai Hills Villa.
Abstract and playful lighting designs work together beautifully in this private residence in Dubai Hills. Sans Souci selected two unique installations to illuminate this contemporary space. This bespoke lighting design incorporates two of the brand’s signature collections, specially selected to complement the contemporary interior.
The lighting installations include the following Sans Souci products:
• REBELS Designed by Rony Plesl, rebellious lamps are suspended in the air, created from a combination of handblown black glass and crystal nano-coated in brass.
• KERCHIEFS Sculpted pieces of opal glass with a contrasting metal finish float effortlessly in the space like a silk scarf.
Sans Souci’s REBELS collection was selected as the centrepiece for this elegant interior in a villa in the Dubai Hills. The installation works with the building to elevate the design.
The inspiration for Kerchiefs component was found in delicacy. Sans Souci let the wavy leaves flutter about arbitrarily above the ground to create an atmosphere of pleasant carelessness and ease. It only depends on your taste whether you choose to highlight their delicacy by pastel tones or accentuate their force by the sharp contrast.
