The design journey emerged from an extensive research process that delved deep into Mediterranean architectural heritage, exploring the nuanced design vernaculars of coastal regions in Greece, Italy, and Southern Spain.
Our conceptual framework went beyond mere aesthetic reproduction, focusing instead on creating a holistic environment that captures the essence of Mediterranean lifestyle. By carefully curating materials, studying contextual elements, and understanding the psychological impact of spatial design, we developed a comprehensive approach that translates geographical inspiration into a lived experience.
The project revolves around the concept of maintaining a muted design language for the house’s backdrops while experimenting with vibrant colors in the furniture and soft furnishings. The apartment is designed with a clear separation between public and private zones for optimal functionality. The centrally placed drawing room/family lounge serves as the focal point of the house, linking both zones and making the apartment woman-centric. The best views are oriented towards the outdoor terrace, which further enhances the charm of the space.
Beyond its physical attributes, the project represents a lifestyle prototype that challenges traditional interior design paradigms. It showcases how thoughtful design can elevate emotional well-being, create meaningful living experiences, and establish a profound connection between inhabitants and their environment. The design methodology employs a phenomenological approach, ensuring that each spatial interaction becomes a narrative, each room tells a story, and the entire living space becomes an expression of cultural and personal identity.
Throughout the interiors, the furniture reflects the relaxed yet refined Mediterranean lifestyle. Plush sofas and lounges upholstered in earthy tones and natural textures like linen and wicker, provide a sense of comfort and an immediate connection to the coastal surroundings. Minimal coffee tables and consoles infuse a touch of traditional Mediterranean craftsmanship.

The unique selling proposition of this project lies in its experiential design ecosystem. Unlike conventional interior designs, this space is engineered to trigger emotional responses, create sensory immersion, and provide functional elegance. Every design element has been strategically positioned to evoke the relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere of coastal living. The color palette, featuring soft blues, sandy beiges, and sun-washed whites, creates a seamless connection with the natural landscape, while carefully selected textures like linen and wicker bring authentic Mediterranean craftsmanship into the living space.
