New Delhi-based architect Aparna Kaushik, known for her graceful, precise, and impactful design, presents an elegant client lounge, part of her thoughtfully designed office in Noida.
Located on the rooftop of the office, the lounge exudes the same charming blend of modern and vintage aesthetics that forms the mainstay of the interiors throughout, yet stands out with some striking design features.
The stunning custom-made gothic lantern inspired by the Palace of Versailles, hangs from the skylight in the middle of the room, attracting all attention. Made of sand-casted brass with an antique finish, it boasts painstakingly achieved intricate engravings. A collection of graceful blue and white porcelain jars decorates the marble mantel place, and an eye-catching painting adorning the wall above adds colour to the delightfully neutral environment awash in bright natural light.
On the other end of the room is open shelving with a gorgeous stone backdrop that holds a collection of artworks collected by Aparna on her travels across the world.
The carefully curated contemporary seating arrangement is tailor-made to enhance the luxury of the space. The classic chevron hardwood flooring imported from Italy, adds to the refined ambience. The overall appeal is flamboyant, yet timeless.
