Q. How has been your journey in this industry so far? Share with us the company progression or come back, coping pandemic and lockdown?
The pandemic has hit the entire world and within India as well we had the lockdown which affected the human sentiment and business in equal measures hitting the businesses of all sizes and more so small to medium sized retailer were hit severely. Post lockdown, things are looked up as demand for some products and retail demand came back for some time. However, it is going to take time till things come back to normalcy as the whole way of doing business has changed drastically.
Q. In the current times how is the company positioned in terms of new product range, competitive market, and consumer base?
we are very positioned in terms of our innovative and path breaking product range. On some product categories we really do not have any competition as we dominate those categories with our quality and innovative product offering.
For fittings we also offer Ramon Soler from Spain and Nikles from Switzerland.
Veltia from Spain takes care of the words best hand dryers and other commercial accessories. With Dubiel Vitrum, we offer mid prices light mirrors to cater to the mid-market and with Ege Vitrifiye, we cover innovative ceramic products, both wash basins and Wcs & Urinals. We also offer towel warmers and radiators from HOM, Italy which is a great option for cold paces and when one needs to address the moisture situation within the bathroom.
The customer base also has increased on these categories and we see a good number of customers coming onboard both in retail as well on projects, looking at our overall offer. We bring in the best from the world in terms of fittings, bathroom furniture, wash basins, WCs, Light mirror, Mirror Cabinets, Accessories,
Bathtubs, Ceramic Products, Concealed Cisterns and Towel warmers from innovative European companies.
Q. What business model do you follow for loyal customer focus and maintain brand name, quality standards in the market? Are focused to any particular market base? Elaborate on the same?
We are offering high quality to the customer is of prime focus as that helps us build our business in a more organic manner. As a company we are focused on mid -to top end of the market as we have built our product portfolio around the customer needs, wants and aspirations.
In the high end, luxury segment, it is especially important to understand the emotional side of the customer. One must understand the lifestyle quotient of the customer and what they are seeking in terms of their bathroom spaces.
We have the best-in-class products, which are awarded with the best design awards to offer an absolute signature luxury experience to our customers.
But irrespective of the user profile, we never compromise of quality, design, functionality, and ergonomics, these four aspects are given in any bathroom space we work for.

Q. Did the pandemic situation have any impact on your industry? Did company achieve projected growth? Share your thoughts on the same?
Pandemic has pushed the market towards being more hygienic and safer products and now there is a broader awareness to have products which can offer safety, hygiene, and care to the users.
But we have always promoting hygiene, safety, comfort, care, and cleanliness within the bathrooms through our product portfolio as we understand that the bathroom space needs to be safe and hygienic, due to its usage in general. KEUCO has a whole product dedicated towards care & hygiene products for residential, hospitality and for public areas with special attention paid to heavy duty quality with timeless design.
Further, we also have a focused range of touch free products for the wash basin area, WC and for the Urinal area. In fact, we offer the world’s best touch free faucet integrated with soap dispenser and hand dryer from Veltia. With Ramon Soler we almost have a solution for every requitement for a high quality, touch free fittings.
We haven’t achieved our growth numbers but going forward I am sure we will cover up for the lost time and opportunities as the market will bounce back stronger than ever.
Q. In the times to come what modern technology advances can be seen in appliances such as faucets, fridges, kitchen lights, counters, hobs and ovens and more such.
Intelligent Sensing will be the overarching technology for all appliances. With technological advances in the sensor technology, IOT and artificial intelligence; there will be applications visible in all kitchen appliances that will help users be at ease with the everyday cooking. Be it sensing your needs for groceries from your larders and refrigerators to weighing your ingredients placed on countertops and suggesting recipes using them; technology will enable seamless working for an efficient and enjoyable experience. Even the hoods come with sensors whose speeds can be varied depending on the intensity of fumes/vapors.
Q. What are the future plans of the company and what new product line up can we see in this year? Anything special for the discerning Indian consumers?
From the product category standpoint, we are trying to consolidate our leadership position on the category of “Light mirror, Mirror Cabinets & Accessories”. We are the best and the biggest.

From retail footprint standpoint, we will have two more showrooms, one in Gurugram and one in Bangalore, offering real scope of choices to the interior designers and users.
