The team at ASRO Arcade aims at providing spaces that work in synchronicity with its surroundings and have a unique design style with a magnetic aura to it. I try to design projects that can make spaces significantly plusher and engaging for human interaction.
I strongly believe in delivering all-inclusive concepts and building eco-friendly sustainable homes. Such schematic layouts make the interiors lively and more interactive to the user, which gives me an edge over the other designers. I believe that architecture is the mother of all art that is used not only by humans but also by living things on earth in everyday life.

Q. In modern times, do we see many of our structures influenced by Colonial, Western Gothic style of architecture? How do you see architecture and interior design in present times and in the coming future?
Architecture has always been a way of designing and constructing optimised spaces. The end product is always focused on how users interact with their surroundings. The core function of architecture entails designing how one interacts as a society in their environment and with other people.
Indian architects are now getting highly influenced by the colonial and western Gothic styles. There is no doubt that architecture plays a major role in our day to day lives. The world we live in is full of creative ideas. I feel that in the near future, innovative sustainable solutions will play a key role in taking architecture forward.
Q. What is missing in Indian Architecture? Which new architectural practices will be game-changers in the near future?
Today, with architecture, there is less use of digital tools like fabricated technologies, machine learning, artificial intelligence and Big Data. Such tools will soon become more and more pervasive and quickly. There is a rising interest in the impact technology has in our daily lives and this interest has expanded the use of tools in all professional practises.
Augmented reality, 3D printing and artificial intelligence will be the eminent game changers within the design process. With the use of digital software and methodology, it has become convenient to navigate how one experiences their built environment and to construct infrastructure that helps to better communicate with their surroundings.
