What do you have to say about the evolving trends and technologies in the modular kitchen space?
The Modular Kitchen Industry is one of fastest growing industry in the country, which is growing at a CAGR of 27% as per the TechSci Research report, “India Modular Kitchen Market By Design, By Product Type, By Sales Category, Competition, Forecast & Opportunities, 2014 – 2024”. The primary reason for this stable growth is due to the gradual evolution of the consumer psyche and shift towards an uber lifestyle people have understood the concept and utility of Modular Kitchen and the market is shifting towards being an organised sector. This momentum in the overall category, technologies and trends are also getting evolved at rapid pace. Now there is a demand surge for the engineered kitchens with trendy styles and designs across the country, of which Refrigeration appliances is an integral part of.
How has your company adapted to the new shifts in consumer behaviour in modular kitchen segment?
Liebherr being one of the leading Global brands in this industry, has always managed to identify the consumer requirements by providing exclusivity along with core functionality by being an integral part of the consumer’s modular kitchen. We not only have patented technologies which leads to better life of the stored food items but we also give complete flexibility to our consumer for how they want to arrange our products according to their storage requirement and kitchen designs. With respect to the evolving kitchen industry we are able to provide class leading elegant and ergonomic designs and tropicalized products.
What are the market restraints encountered by the company when it comes to new product launch and company expansion plans.
Liebherr has been here in India for more than a decade with its premium range of refrigerators and have seen a steady growth over the years. Now with having a state of the art factory set up in Aurangabad Maharashtra, Liebherr is clearly looking a faster & sustainable growth but unfortunately we all are going through a pandemic, which certainly has slowed down growth to some level but with opening markets and boost in the real estate sector we are very positive for times to come. Soon we are coming up with new range in India and we are certain that our consumers will love them.
What is your take on the fragmented market in the modular kitchen segment consisting of many small and regional competitors present? Does it have any impact on your business?
Being a global pioneer in the refrigeration industry and at the helm of technologically superior products, we believe most of the brands in modular kitchen segment would be willing to have Liebherr refrigerator brand to be associated with. Our range of products and flexibility in arranging a kitchen in the way consumer deem, makes us distinctive and stand out from rest of the competition. We are cautiously but steadily reaching out to consumers with related affinity and our business is only going to grow from where it stands today.
Share with us your business projections in the present and coming year; what new the consumers can expect from your brand.
We have strong hold in the premium category and a well-established network across the country, even in the times like pandemic our business has only grown, may be not to the extent we planned but it has grown. For coming year, like we already discussed, Liebherr appliances India is about to launch our new range of products which are already loved by our consumer in European markets since the launch last year. A lot of our customer are already aware of the range present internationally and just waiting those to be launched to upgrade from the existing set up that they have.We are very confident that “Liebherr Appliances India” will be a go to brand in India when anyone think of going for designing their kitchen.
