With rising temperatures and changing climate patterns, how do you see the AC market evolving across residential and commercial segments?
Air conditioners are becoming a necessity rather than a luxury due to rising temperatures and frequent heatwaves. Consumers are increasingly looking for smarter and more intuitive premium cooling solutions offering greater convenience and performance. In the residential segment, AC penetration in India is still low around 10-12%, indicating vast untapped potential. Demand is also moving toward higher-capacity and more efficient systems driving adoption of higher-tonnage solutions like tower and cassette ACs in the commercial segments.
Our 2026 summer portfolio spans split ACs, cassette ACs, tower ACs, and window ACs across capacities from 1 Ton to 4 Ton. The lineup is available in 5‑star and 3‑star energy ratings with a spotlight on our Smart ACs.

- Today’s ACs come in various colors, finishes, and form factors—how important is design integration in modern interiors?
Design integration has become a critical factor in modern air conditioners, as consumers increasingly view appliances as an extension of their home interiors rather than just functional products. Today’s buyers are looking for solutions that seamlessly blend with their living spaces, making aesthetics as important as performance. We are seeing strong demand for premium, design-led ACs with varied colours and finishes that complement contemporary décor.
Our summer AC portfolio reflects this shift, the new Eon Magnus series is available in gloss black, matte silver, champagne gold, elegant white, and a reflective mirror finish, alongside the sleek grey Eon Nimbus, the monolithic Eon and the Wood-finish and Marble-finish Vogue ACs.
- What key technological advancements—such as inverter technology, smart controls, or air purification—are shaping your latest offerings?
The biggest focus area for the brand has been the Smart AC segment with multiple new model introductions. The Godrej Smart AC range with AI-powered technology, IoT connectivity and WiFi-enabled controls, redefines user convenience with its insight-based features and designs. In addition, these IoT-enabled ACs offer easy energy monitoring, filter‑cleaning alerts, pre‑scheduled on/off, smart diagnostics, and more.
The i-Sense Technologyin our ACs is like a personal cooling assistant that senses the ambient temperature and automatically adjusts the cooling controls to offer precise and comfortable cooling.
Comfort flow Technology is a new feature we have introduced in our ACs which gives an option to diffuse air distribution delivering gentler airflow to those who prefer it to a stronger blast of air.
Also, our split ACs with PlasmaShield technology enables up to 99% reduction in virus, bacteria, fungus for a heathier environment.
5-in-1 Convertible Technology allows the user to choose between five cooling capacity levels based on the cooling and comfort requirements, and number of people in the room, enabling up to 70% power savings, offering consumers to manage the efficiency of their air conditioner easily.
In a nutshell, from design to energy savings, from smart Wi-Fi enabled to AI powered cooling, from air purifying to gentler air flow to 4-way swing air delivery, we have a portfolio that caters to the varied needs of our customers.
- What’s the Godrej Promise that the brand has recently launched?

We are offering our consumers a five-year comprehensive warranty which is transparent and free of hidden costs- including technician visit charges, gas refill and even remote replacement costs without any mandatory maintenance costs on part of the customers. This initiative reflects our commitment to delivering lasting value and peace of mind, while reinforcing our appliances as a benchmark in the industry for reliability and quality as well as the strength of our after sales service.
Having seen the response for the extended warranty offer on our split ACs and inverter window ACs, we have now extended the ‘Godrej Promise’ across a wide range of products including refrigerators, washing machines, air coolers, microwave ovens, and deep freezers purchased from 1st April 2026 onwards.
- How does AC growth look like for the brand this summer?
Despite a challenging year for the AC industry which witnessed a decline in overall sales, Godrej ACs achieved over 8% growth (April 2025 to Feb 2026) and we are among the fastest growing AC players in India.
Backed by our value-driven product portfolio, our transparent 5-year comprehensive AC warranty, and the rapid expansion of our retail footprint, we are targeting 30% to 40% growth this summer season.
