Poltrona Frau completes its nighttime collection with DressCove Night System, the new sectional and modular system for wardrobes and walk-in closets. For this new chapter, Poltrona Frau has commissioned architect and designer Dante Bonuccelli; the project blends innovation, design, craftsmanship, and the elegance of Pelle Frau®, harmoniously combined with wood and other materials to create fully customizable furniture.
Emotion and functionality, passion and precision: the wardrobes & walk-in closets designed by Poltrona Frau amaze on both fronts. The many innovations include a new upright system that offers an alternative to traditional wardrobes sides, and allows for equally stable, but visually lighter, structures.
A concealed yet sophisticated lighting system is integrated within the upright supports or along the shelves, illuminating the interiors. Technical materials, such as lightweight yet structural aluminium, interact with the warmth of wood and Pelle Frau® leather to create a sumptuous tactile and visual experience.

The DressCove Night System is highly versatile: it coordinates walk-in closets and traditional wardrobes to create optional open or closed spaces using a mix of transparent and opaque materials. Pelle Frau® leather, wood, and premium finishes add warmth and refinement to every structural detail.
DressCove Night System offers both side panel or upright modular solutions; the latter can be a free-standing solution for walk-in closets or as an alternative to traditional panels for wardrobes with sliding or hinged doors.
The structure, supported by upright fittings, eliminates the need for dividing panels, creating a more spacious and streamlined configuration. The bevelled-edge shelves with gently- curved corners are available in various types of wood, or in laminate, either trimmed in leather or entirely covered in Pelle Frau®.
The lighting system is specifically designed to suit the different solutions: in fitted wardrobes, it runs vertically, while in walk-in conformations the lighting is horizontally positioned beneath the shelves. Leather is a defining element of the wardrobe, present in every component-from the upright supports to the handles. Combined with wood or aluminium, it enhances and refines the meticulous design of the structure.
The extensive range of 18 Pelle Frau® ColorSphere Impact Less colours is already unique in the world of wardrobe furnishings. However, to ensure full customization and perfect integration with the brand’s other products, any other colour from the ColorSphere leather collection can be selected upon request.
The wooden structure of the modular closet is available in Golden Walnut, Dark Oak, Brown Oak or Pickled Oak, with the option of doors in glass, wood, or upholstered in Pelle Frau®.
The DressCove modular system also comprises a wide range of elegant accessories that can be easily moved and rearranged at any height: chests of drawers, trouser and shoe racks, drawers and specific compartments for shoes, bags, watches and ties, plus boxes and hangers.
To complete the interiors of the DressCove Night System, Poltrona Frau has also designed a selection of organizing boxes: Cherish and Alcove. Both are extremely useful for storing bed linens or accessories in wardrobes and walk-in closets; they add the same refined style to the sleeping area that distinguishes the other spaces in the home.
Cherish is a collection of elegant storage boxes made from natural raffia with cognac or natural-coloured leather details and contrasting stitching. The leather lid and inlaid side handles are both hot-stamped with the Poltrona Frau logo, combining sophistication with practicality. Available in two sizes, the smaller version measures 130xw25xh19.5cm (11.8×9.8×7.7 inches), while the medium size offers a more spacious 135x4w5xh19.5cm (13.8×17.7×7.7 inches), providing versatile storage options.
Meanwhile, Alcove has a more quadrangular shape and is made entirely of Cuoio Re-Saddle, featuring inlaid side handles and a lid with a concealed magnetic closure. It stands out for its play of colours: the front, back, bottom, and lid are in smoky quartz, while the sides are in cognac-coloured leather. This model comes in three different sizes, offering a slim 139xw35×h11cm (15.4×13.8×4.3 inches) version, a medium 139xw35xh19cm (15.4×13.8× 7.5 inches) option, and a larger 139xw38xh38cm (15.4x15x15 inches) variation, allowing for a range of storage possibilities.
Both types of organizing boxes are available in different sizes and are internally upholstered in leather. In the Poltrona Frau stores, an ad-hoc configurator tool helps professionals and customers to design customized solutions, based on individual requirements.
